What is SRLS

The Socially Responsible Leadership Scale (SRLS) is a set of statistically valid and reliable scales designed by leadership educators. It measures the eight values of the Social Change Model of leadership development (SCM). SCM describes leadership as a purposeful, collaborative, values-driven process, instead of a title or position.

SRLSonline identifies and measures leadership capacities for research, assessment, and education. SRLSonline offers four licensing options for surveying individuals, groups, and large institutions—and for incorporating the scales into a larger instrument. Most licenses allow respondents to answer questions online; so it is easy to take or administer. Options for longitudinal tracking, customized reporting, and other special services are also available.

SRLSonline is a partnership of the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs, Adele H. Stamp Student Union (University of Maryland), Survey Sciences Group and the Center for Student Studies.
